HEG continues Socio-Economic work throughout Alberta
The HEG continues to work on socio-economic impact assessments in 2012 for oil and gas, coal mining, power plant, transmission line and pipeline projects. These projects are being completed throughout Alberta ranging from Rainbow Lake in the north, to Hardisty in the east, down to Cardston and Pincher Creek in south of the province. The studies comply with the regulatory requirements set by the National Energy Board, the Alberta Utilities Commission, the Alberta Energy Resource Conservation Board, as well as internal corporate requirements where regulatory filings are not necessary.
